Went for a repair job that I told them was going to a difficult one to begin with. They charge 100$ on the top no matter, but neglect to say they do not do internal engine components. They recommended an oil change to fix a hard vibration and clear engine problems. So I had paid 100 for an oil change and went to another shop just for them to have to change the oil. They get 2 stars cause at least I was refunded the 100 service fee for diagnostic even though he really didn't want explaining I have to pay for my techs. Still wasted a 100$ and 2-3 days of my time which is also valuable to me, the customer.

I always have such a great experience here. They are friendly and transparent. Good prices, too. I took my car in for AC repair and let them know that I was aware the car had other issues, but I was tight for money and just needed the AC done. They kept me updated and let me know what other things were wrong, but were very honest and informative about it all and I didn’t feel like they were trying to sell me something I didn’t need. I ended up fixing everything due to my shock at how little the cost was and how fast it would all be done! I’ve been here many times, and I recommend them to everyone who needs some car help. (And Winston is a huge plus!🩷)

Spent $608 with them last year July to get my Ac fix. They diagnosed it and supposedly fixed the problem. Once I got my car I had to take it back wasn’t cool. I moved to Louisiana after that it only worked for a few days. My air hasn’t worked properly since they fixed it and that’s crazy. It’s so hot in my car I leave it parked. Been coming here for years but the service here is now trash. I have a warranty and my receipts but I don’t trust them anymore. My friend that recommended me also had the same problem. Idk if the mechanics changed but it’s definitely not the same.
Response from the owner:Good morning, so sorry to hear you are having problems again. We replaced the ac hose that was visibly leaking and when you brought it back the ac service ports were not sealing. This sometimes happens after servicing a vehicle and are sorry that happened. We DID replace those service ports and recharged the ac system without charging you for that. There are many ac components on an ac system that could be causing this issue a year later but the hose we replaced has a nationwide warranty for 2 years and/or 24 thousand miles. So if it is the hose that is leaking, give us a call and we can get that warrantied for you parts and labor even in Louisiana! It certainly is no fun and disheartening to have to pay to have your car repaired only to have to bring it back, again, I am so sorry about that but we did fix the issue without charging anymore for it. If this turns out to be the hose, please let us know as we would like to get it fixed for you under the provisions of the hose manufacturers warranty.

Had a great experience here. Brought my truck in for AC service—Matthew was my service advisor and he was awesome. He got me checked in quickly, explained everything clearly, and had me back on the road fast after a recharge. Honest, professional service all around. The shop is clean and comfortable, and to top it off, they have the cutest dog in the lobby. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for reliable, trustworthy auto repair.

I had a different experience than most reviews suggest. I came in for an alignment and asked them to check a suspension sound in the front. they came back claiming I needed almost $4000 worth of work, saying that essentially all my bushings and boots were ripped and worn. they told me they were only quoting the urgent repairs and that more work should be done but I could give it some time. this confused me because the car felt solid while driving other than a slight wobble at 65mph.
I noticed at the time that they seemed to be double charging for labor, as most of these parts connect to each other. for example, the wheel bearing hubs must be removed to replace the control arms, sway bar links (stabilizer bar links), and the shocks. I also thought it was odd to only recommend changing one wheel hub. though with a projected $4000+ in repair bills on the horizon, these felt like the least of my problems at the time.
I got 2 second opinions, including one from the dealership. both said I needed wheel bearings and front control arms, and all my boots and other suspension bushings are still healthy, I looked underneath myself and can confirm zero boot rips. (see attached photos and videos.). I had concerns about the rust, but I was assured by both places the parts were fine. realizing LMC had falsely diagnosed my vehicle was very disappointing, and I worry about how many others may have spent thousands of dollars on things they absolutely did not need.
my dad was a life long mechanic, he taught me to consolidate related repairs, so I always research what parts make sense to replace at the same time to combine labor costs. because of how my suspension is connected, i am choosing to replace my front strut/coils, control arms (with added camber alignment bolts), wheel hubs, tires, and sway bar links (with genuine GM OEM parts I purchased through Rockauto myself) at a different shop, even though the control arms and wheel bearings are the only urgent necessities. my total cost is about $1500, including 4 wheel alignment and balance.
I regret giving LMC $100 to look my suspension over. needless to say I will not be back. my advice? get a second opinion before accepting a repair quote from this shop.

Response from the owner:Good afternoon. We are disheartened by your experience with LMC and assure you our inspection and estimate was not malicious. You even pointed out that you do not find any reviews that are saying we are dishonest. The fact of the matter is, we are not. I will try to explain further the issues with your car. First, the total would have been $3552.04, not $4000+ as you indicated.
That total included the recommended but NOT required items as well.
We mentioned there was rust under the car but that isn't any issue with the repairs. If we were willing to work on it then the rust was not an issue.
We did not say that all the bushings and boots were worn or at least may have seen something with them but did NOT add them into the estimate for repair. We are obligated to tell you what is wrong with your car and if you chose to fix it or not is completely up to you. What we did recommend was as follows:
Anti-sway bar links - they were causing the noise.
Front lower control arms - bushings were bad, you would need to look inside and use a pry bar to see that they are torn. Both of your 2nd opinions apparently agreed with us.
Right front hub bearing- we didn't suggest the Left because it was not loose.
Struts due to age and mileage, purely recommended. Any technician can tell you the importance of shocks and struts and most manufacturers recommend replacement around 50 to 100 thousand miles depending on driving conditions.
Wheel balance was recommended because the weights were missing.
And of course a wheel alignment would be needed.
As for double labor, we aren't seeing it. If you could have your father look up in the repair manuals, Mitchell is what we use, it states clearly that removing the wheel bearing is NOT required for replacing the control arm. We can print it and provide the procedure for you if you wish. Same with anti-sway bar links, struts and shocks, they do not overlap.
Your 2 second opinions said exactly what we said, control arms and wheel bearings except ours saved you money by NOT recommending the driver front as it was not needing replacement.
As for where you buy your parts vs ours, Rock auto does not provide labor warranties on their parts. Where we buy parts they are backed by a 24 month 24 thousand mile part and labor warranty which is nationwide. Rock auto is 12 months 12 thousand mile part only warranty and you have to pay someone AGAIN to install those defective parts.
Your opinion that we falsely diagnosed your vehicle is, well, false. Again, we HAVE to tell you what we see and what is required and what is not. We told you all what we saw and what is required vs recommended. Your father can vouch for the requirement to tell your customer what is going on with the car, I mean, we cannot keep it a secret or simply ignore what we see because that gets us in trouble too if something happens later down the road. Customers say, why didn't you see this before?
I do wish this did not happen, as you can see we have allot of reviews that paint a very dissimilar picture compared to this situation and if we can do anything to help, please let us know.

Very disappointed with the service. I took my car to Shop LMC Complete Auto in Spring five months ago for an alignment. From the beginning, something didn’t feel right, and now it’s clear—my front tires are completely destroyed due to a poor alignment job. Each tire costs nearly $500, and now I’m left with a major expense because of their mistake. They claim to offer a 6-month warranty on their services, but when I went back, they refused to take responsibility or cover anything. I do not recommend this place—they don’t honor their warranty and won’t stand behind their work. I will not be coming back.
Response from the owner:Good afternoon, I'm sorry you are having problems with your tires. The alignment warranty is 6 months, and we do honor that warranty, you came in on October 3rd of 2024, MORE than 7 months ago, outside of the warranty. I am happy that you showed pictures of the tires because they show those tires are far from destroyed. You indicated on the phone a "chunk" of the tire was missing which tells us it suffered from some kind of impact. I have never seen a tire wear issue remove chunks of rubber from the tire.
We also did offer to realign the Jeep at no cost if you wanted to correct the camber caster issue with aftermarket adjustment kits. When the Jeep was lifted, it should have had those installed to bring the caster and camber back into spec. We also have the computerized print out that shows the before (when you brought the Jeep in) and the after alignment specs showing we aligned your Jeep.
Lastly, based on your pictures, the wear appears to be in the center part of the tread as on each edge you can see they are even by the tire design and the small holes. The worn part looks to be in the center and could be from over inflated tires.

So sorry to hear this, unfortunately we would have to take the engine apart to describe the failure further. Doing so would cost allot of money to find out that part that failed and the result would still need the engine replaced or overhauled. Do Not take your car here for service, Initially they held my car for a week without starting on it and didn't let me know anything. Charge me $1423.67 to find out they did not even diagnose an accurate problem. Just did work base on my concerns (smelling exhaust smell while driving) never did I tell them that. So when I reach out to them to let them know my check engine light was back on. They then had a list of reason why my car check engine light was present. Stated "he was not surprised it was back on, most customer don't care that their check engine light is on." Why wouldn't you let you customer know everything you encounter when service their vehicle. LMC automotive robbed me of time and service.

I want to thank all of the guys who I came in contact with at LMC Complete Automotive a huge thank you for being SO VERY RESPECTFUL! Especially to all the single women out there in need of auto repairs looking for an honest and respectful auto shop I highly I highly LMC.
I was on the internet searching for a new Auto Repair Shop to take my car to when I came across LMC Complete Automotive. After reading a lot of their outstanding reviews I gave their office a call. I spoke with Gary & explained to him that my Battery Service Charge light on the dash started coming on the night before. I needed to take it somewhere that didn’t require an appointment and who wouldn’t have to keep the car for an extended period of time. I explained to Gary that my dealership told me that I needed to replace the throttle body however after we spoke for a couple of minutes he told me that he thought it was the alternator. As I was so pressed for time he told me he would go ahead and order the throttle body & alternator so they would be at the shop when I arrived.
I took the car in later that day & the diagnostic test revealed the alternator was bad. In addition, he notified me that the throttle body was extremely filthy & in order to save me some time and money they were going to do a thorough cleaning on the throttle body for now.
In addition since they completed the repair and cleaning so fast I went ahead and had them do an oil change as well. 2 1/2hrs later I was leaving the shop and my car was running like a champ.
I will be taking my car here from now on. I just can’t say enough about this place, theses guys are absolutely wonderful!!!
